Product Design Executive

Design and develop apparel, home-ware and product ranges and concepts for key BBC brands. These include Hey Duggee, Something Special, TopGear & MOTD. Working on the creative development of styleguides, creating in house bespoke assets and creating full product presentations covering Adult through to Pre- School.

Confident in presenting to internal and external creatives & buying teams, pushing trend and innovation to ensure the consumer product department maintains brand integrity. Delivering strong designs to a key highstreet retailers, working with them directly to execute customer briefs, develop bespoke artwork and packaging.

Delivering strong visuals for marketing and licensing teams, creating FSDU’s, brand brochures and Brand adverts for magazines and trade shows, Brand Licensing. Implemented and manage the teams sample budget, presenting trend to internal departments to maintain a creative environment and push innovation.

Babywear Designer

Responsible for design and developing Girls, Boys and Unisex ranges 0-6 years for a variety of high-street retailers. Creating own brand character illustrations and repeat pattern as well as licensed product such as Disney, Snoopy, Star Wars and Waybuloo. Worked closely with technical teams and the assistants to provide support, overseeing strike off and lap dip stage to ensure a high quality product was delivered to store.

Produced trend look-books seasonally, collated from competitive shops both abroad and in the UK, which I presented to external buyers at customer meetings.

Fashion Lab  (July 2011 – March 2013 )

Designer

As a Designer I worked across multiple retailers effectively managing  my own key accounts. These have included Next, Mothercare, BHS and Tesco. Designing full character ranges from toddler through to tween & adult ranges on brands such as Hello Kitty, Little Miss & Mr Men, and Angry Birds. Product areas include Jerseywear, outerwear, swim and informal partywear. Alongside managing my own accounts I was also involved in developing an in- house brand, Phillip Townsend designing fashion graphics for Womenswear.

Skew Studios  (February 2011 – March 2011 )

Design and Graphics Intern

Working in house with entertainment lead brands, assisting with the day to day running of the studio, helping to develop a series of illustrations and AOP for Little Charlie Bear.

George @ Asda  (November 2010  )

Assisted the Jersey-wear team on live projects producing own brand graphics and placement prints in Photoshop. Collated colour swatches for meetings and developed trend & Mood boards.
